General Blop

General Blop

NTL DTH is the counterpoint. A rebellion against disposability. A return to the physical.

$65.00

Not a bowl, not a tray—just The Blop.

Heavy, grounded, and unapologetically smooth, this concrete object blurs the line between sculpture and function. Designed to hold what matters—keys, salt, guitar picks, or the odd artifact—The Blop invites you to reinterpret its purpose. Its smooth, organic shape feels like it was plucked from nature and molded for your space.

As with all NTL DTH pieces, The Blop bears the mark of permanence—a hand-stamped brass emblem in its base, a quiet declaration of craftsmanship and durability.

This isn’t just an object; it’s a piece of your everyday rhythm, a symbol of simplicity that endures.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Concrete isn’t fragile—but it is alive.

Each NTL DTH object will develop character with time and touch. While strong and built to last, concrete can chip or crack if dropped—so treat your piece like the artifact it is.

Our concrete is sealed and safe for daily use. For regular maintenance, simply hand-wash with warm water and a gentle soap. Towel dry, then allow to air dry fully. Like natural stone, concrete is porous—liquids may absorb but will not seep through.

Waxing & Ritual

We offer Stonekeeper Wax not just as protection, but as practice. Waxing your piece is a way to slow down and care for what stays.

If your piece lives outdoors or sees frequent handling (food, water, incense, etc.), a thin coat of wax will help maintain its tone and texture.

Our wax is made from beeswax, carnauba wax, and mineral oil—safe enough to use on lips, hands, even beards.

How to Care (1–2–3)

Before using with food, wash your piece thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Any polishing residue will wash away here.

Dry with a towel and let air dry for 2–3 hours.

Apply a thin layer of Stonekeeper Wax. Let sit for 15 minutes, then buff with a soft cloth.

Things to Know

Bowls used for liquids should be waxed weekly, or until they become saturated.

Waxing darkens color over time. Some colors deepen with wax. Others shift with use.

If you want the color to remain exactly as cast, avoid food contact or skip the wax.

Show your concrete love, and it will be with you for life.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

We strive to process and ship all orders in a timely manner, working diligently to ensure that your items are on their way to you as soon as possible. Need to return something? Just let us know.

COLOR & SURFACE

Every NTL DTH object is hand-cast in small batches, using custom molds and a variety of finishing techniques. Pigments are added both within the mix and onto the surface—each method chosen to be permanent and to enhance the natural quality of the concrete beneath.

Each piece is sealed and softly polished by hand. Over time, the surface will naturally shift as the protective wax wears, softening into a more matte finish. To restore luster, deepen color, and protect the surface, reapply Stonekeepers Wax as desired.

Speckling, patina, and tonal variation are part of the process—never flaws. These details make each object feel discovered, not produced. Colors are consistent in tone, but no two pieces are identical. That’s what makes them yours.
